We have an alarm system and security cameras inside and outside our home that are motion activated. Even if they destroy the camera their image is uploaded to the cloud. We have two dogs that would alert us as well. I also have several weapons within reach in our bedroom. You can never be too prepared. I am glad you slept through most of it. It could have been much worse.
