We have 2 dogs and 2 cats and that is 3 pets too many. Our children are grown and gone. I muttered the words empty nester out loud one time too many and Katy fixed that. Now, when I want to go out of town we have to get our neighbor to come let the dogs out so they do not leave piles of steaming dog doo all over the house. Good grief.
