Try buying a gallon of milk. In the Charleston SC area it runs around 4.00. That is more expensive than gasoline unless you live on the west coast. I bet a gallon of gas is around 5 bucks per gallon or more. That would make a bowl of cereal pretty expensive. I remember when gas was under 1.00 per gallon. My parents bought a 3 bedroom house with 2 bathrooms on 2.5 lots for 31k. Remember those days?
