Thank you for sharing your opinion about what the bible says about homosexuality. Maybe you are correct, maybe you are not. You say that God does not love gay people. I believe that God loves everyone and that grace is available to all people, no matter their status or station in life. I have been alive for 60 years now and I have studied the bible for many of those years. What I have found is that the more I think I know the more I realize I do not know everything. Having said that I believe that sin separates us from God. That sin, left alone and not repented for is what separates us from God for eternity. Having said that what is the definition of sin. Is it lying, being a thief or a drunk. What about a wife beater or husband abuser. What about a drug addict or murderer? Where does that list end. Is sin an action or a state of mind? I have a son that is gay and is in his 30's. I have told him that I love him and that God loves him. His lifestyle or choices (as all of ours) are between him and his creator. I do not feel qualified to stand in judgement of him. I can look in the mirror and recognize how inadequate I am because of my sinful nature. Who am I to judge others for their faults or sins?
