Such a wonderful story. Active listening is a very valuable skill. Being approachable and being willing to listen is also important. Over the years I have grown weary of people. I used to love people and be around them. As I have grown older I find that I do not have the patience to deal with people. I need to learn how to be more approachable. Thanks for the reminder.
