Jeremy and Jessica are now in heaven together

In the last month I was made aware that my first born son was admitted to the Intensive Care Unit of the local hospital where he lives. I feel the need to talk about this because I played a part in a failed relationship with him. As in all relationships it takes two people to keep the lines of communications open and to care enough about each other to do so.

The only reason we found out about his hospitalization is because one of his roommates who is a close friend reached out to his sister who lives close to us. My daugher did not know how to handle this situation so she passed the information on to my other son who in turn notified me. I am thankful that someone let us know what was happening.

As you probably know health departments from several states have been letting every one know about the increase in Flu and Pneumonia cases all across the US. That is why everyone is being encouraged to get the flu vaccine. Just as when someone gets the Flu or COVID there is an increased risk to the patient if they fall into specific health…
