photo taken from my porch in Goose Creek

The other day I decided to take the camera out on the front porch and wait on birds or cats or whatever to show up so I could practice taking photos with my new camera. I notice this cotton candy looking cloud and snapped a picture of it. Sadly enough, after sitting on my porch the wildlife in our neighborhood decided to stay away from me and my camera.

As I draw nearer to my pending expiration date I feel prompted to share my wisdom and knowledge with anyone that will read it. I want to spend whatever time I have left in this world doing that. I want to make some sort of difference in the lives of others.

If I were to listen to the negative voices in my head I would give in to the feeling that I do not have much to offer. Negative feelings of self worth. Lack of self confidence. Comparing myself to others and feeling like a failure. Time is too short to do that. So, I tell those negative voices in my head to shut up.

Just this week I read something in the Medium Edition that said that people like to read articles from people who share their personal knowledge on lots of different topics. Surely we all know things that others may not know. Right? Perhaps we are subject matter experts on things that is not common knowledge.
