Recently we watched a movie called Dr Death. It was based on real medical cases where a doctor learned how to fabricate 3D generated body organs that were being used in transplant patients. Many people died because the technology was not mature enough and the research was in the beginning stages. Rewind to heart transplants and other medical miracles that came along. In the beginning many people died from these transplants until the medical profession learned how to perfect it. Now heart transplants are considered routine. Now we have AI. Maybe it is only as good as the knowledge and understanding of the humans we are providing the learning models for them. We look at the terminator movies and Skynet as ridiculous science fiction. How far from that are we today? Lots to think about.
