Perhaps writing for Medium or Substack is not supposed to pay the mortgage or rent on a regular basis. If you write for The NY Times or a big publication then you might expect to pay some bills with that income. No.... I do not know... I just do not believe that people can expect big bucks from this. Maybe I am wrong.
