BAH... your red cone comment reminded me of the time that my wife and daughter found a street sign laying on the side of the road. They brought the damn thing home and my daughter wanted to keep it in her bedroom. I asked them if they realized that they had stolen a street sign? No, if it is laying on the side of the road it is fair game. OMG...
