My Podcasting set up

Did I mention that I started podcasting in May of 2023?

Yes, I have two podcasts. One is ABC’s of Marriage and parenting adult children. The second one is Liberty and Gun Rights podcast.

The parenting adult children podcast was created because of the “tough love” Facebook support group that we started back in 2014. We now have 1.1k members with 325 of them being semi active. I decided to have a podcast that would support that theme. As you can see there is need for this type of support. My wife and I had 5 children. Somehow I managed to avoid prison during their teenaged years.

The purpose of the podcasts is to provide support for parents who are going through different types of issues with their children, preteens, teenagers and young adults. I wanted to provide parents and grandparents with content that would give them the tools that they need to get through the issues. Not only do we want them to endure the trials and tribulations but we want them to find solutions to the problems. We want to see relationships healed. We want both the parents and the children to forge a positive relationship and path forward into adulthood.

At first the thought of podcasting was a bit daunting. The first hurdle to cross is the technology stage. Buying the right equipment for the job. Luckily for me, I am an IT Specialist so the tech portion of this was easy. I went to Best Buy in stages to get what I needed.

In 2023 I sold my MacBook Pro M1 series chip and upgraded it to a Dell Inspiron…
