This past Sunday was Fathers Day so I decided to see if I could find another good deal on a MacBook Air. I found the one in the picture above for 300.00 and snatched it up. I am typing this story on it while I am at my 2nd job in the evenings. I find a lot of steals on Facebook Marketplace.
Several months ago I bought a 2012 version MacBook Pro. They both came with MacOS Big Sur which is the latest version of MacOS they are able to run. That means that MS Office 365 will not install on them. That is ok, I can log on to Office 365 on the web and create the document that way. Then I can open it up on my Dell Inspiron laptop in my office and edit it.
My Dell Inspiron 16 2 in 1 with an OLED touch screen laptop was purchased 12 months ago. I am getting ready to renew the maintenance contract on it with Dell. The Dell is my workhorse that I do writing and podcasting on.
While I like the Dell I would have rather buy a MacBook Pro M3 with tons of memory and drive space. That upgrade would have costed me way more than I could afford at the time. I could buy the Dell with a touch screen OLED…
