my father was a drill seargent in the Army for 26 years. He was involved in both Vietnam and Korea conflicts. He really did not talk much about it around the dinner table or anywhere else. I think it really screwed him up. He passed away in 1990 at the age of 60. I have all of his war medals in a shadow box. I am proud of his service. I am not sure that our country should have gotten involved in those conflicts but what do I know?
