Karen Schwartz Roz Warren, Writing Coach

if you couldn’t afford to give a store-bought gift for a friend’s birthday, would you make them a homemade present or skip the gift-giving altogether?

I would call them on the phone and invite them out to lunch, supper or whatever so we could spend time together.

2. What do you do with your change? Do you save it in a piggy bank or spend it with your dollar bills?

I save quarters so I can use them during the monthly poker game I attend.

3. If you could design the next ten-dollar bill, would you print a picture of someone you know or someone famous you admire?

Neither… Is that bad?

4. If you inherited a large sum of money and the instructions gave you a choice, would you spend it on yourself or a registered charity? You can’t do both.

I would be selfish and spend it on me and my family.

5. If a store gave you back counterfeit money, would you go to the police or back to the store and confront the manager?

I would go back to the store and let them know so they could make it right. They in turn can call the police to report it.

6. You won a free trip on a month-long trip to Europe, but to claim it, you must work one hour in the top-of-the-line kitchen preparing breakfast or in the bustling casino aiding the dealer…
