Many moons ago i was very involved in ministry at the largest SBC church in Houston Texas. Got baptized there and met my 2nd wife there. That was 34 years ago. When my first wife of 2 years divorced me the SBC pastors told me that I could not teach a Sunday school lesson. Divorce was frowned upon. It took me several years to get over my anger and disappointment. As for reproductive issues the SBC needs to leave it alone. That and many other social issues.
