It would seem that you had the same type of father that I did. My adoptive father was a drill instructor for 26 years in the army. He was an angry man who was an alcoholic. Today he would have gone to prison for the abuse that him and our adoptive mother meted out to me and my sister. I am glad that you broke the cycle of abuse and are a better man for it.
