In the 70's when I was still in school there was no such thing as wasting time scrolling social media portals. My parents were no different. Go outside and find something to do. Riding my bike and playing basketball by myself out in the back yard was the sum total of my entertainment. Oh wait, I read TONS of books. That helped me to escape the hellscape of a childhood my sister and I never had.
