I love this story. My sister and I were adopted in a German Orphanage when we were both 1 and 2 years old. Father was stationed in Frankfurt Germany. Mother was Austrian working at consulate as an interpreter. She spoke 26 languages. After a couple of miscarriages they decided to adopt. I am thankful they did. Life could have been way worse for us both. My sister always wanted to find her bio mother. I did not really care one way or the other. We were told that our birth mother gave us up for adoption because she could not take care of us. My sister has since passed. I want to visit Germany before I go.
