I am right there with you. Most companies utilize auto attendant software along with AI to shuffle callers into the appropriate queues. If you don’t respond correctly to the options given they just end the call and you get to start all over again. They also tell you that due to the pandemic they are experiencing a higher than normal call volume. It’s like you said they have more customers than they will ever hope to provide customer service for. Just use their web site or chat bots to solve your problem.
