I agree that their are many traditions and methods within all different denominations in Christianity. They are espoused by leadership and pronounced as gospel to the sheep who follow along blindly. The problem is that a majority of people do not read the Bible or study the ancient texts come from. There are so many times when someone will quote a single scripture and twist the meaning without considering the context of the entire passage. I know that there are a lot of souls who have been abused and mistreated by so called clergy and have walked away from their faith in who,ever their definition of god is. None of us have a full understanding of scripture. The more I read and study the more I realize just what I do not know.
