I absolutely agree. I will always give 50 claps for any article I read. For the most part the articles are good enough to read all the way through. Those articles that put me to sleep or the plot just drones on forever I skip and go somewhere else. I also like to engage with the writers as you can tell by my response. So, with that said, yes, responses should be used to engage the author on some level. Good article by the way.
