Everyone’s need’s are different. At work i ave two monitors and i use them both equally. I do end user support and having two monitors allows me to remote into a customers machine while using the other monitor for other apps. At home i use one monitor for my Dell work laptop and one monitor for my personal MB Pro. There have been occasions when i needed a second monitor for work tasks so i can easily borrow the larger 4k monitor and plug it into the work docking station.
